Never mailed trading cards before? You need about five minutes and things already in your house.

Step 1 — The cardboard sandwich

Stack cards tightly, cut two pieces of stiff cardboard slightly bigger than the stack, place one above and one below, and rubber-band or tape the bundle. This is what stops bent corners.

Step 2 — Protect anything shiny

Holos, full-arts, anything that glitters: penny sleeves or toploaders if you have them. If not, wrap those few cards in paper inside their own small sandwich.

Step 3 — Fill every gap

Bubble wrap, grocery bags, crumpled paper — pack until nothing shifts. The test: shake the closed box. Silence means ready.
